I had problems with misfiring for the last month, got code 54. I bought a new Ign coil, and it just arrived yesterday. I have not got the code for a couple weeks, but still suffer from lack of power and a gas smell during idle.
I have not installed the Ignition coil yet, but this morning, I was getting too much fire from the 4runner? It's not running now and I have to get a tow truck. My mom wants me to scrap it.
Is this fixable or should I scrap it?
