transmission flush

Do any of you guys believe in flushing the transmission fluid? If so, how often? I flushed mine at 60K and now wondering if I should do it again (I'm sitting at 141K). The Toyo guy told me not to even worry about it, but I can't help but think that it may be worth it. The transmission is the only part on this truck that scares me. The only thing that you can do to keep it up is to keep good fluid in it, but some say that this hurts it more than it helps. The infamous "clunk" doesn't help my opinion on it very much either.

IMO, changing the trans fluid every 50-60K is money well spent if you plan to keep the vehicle for the next 50-60K.

I agree that changing the fluid is cheap insurance --- I don't believe the costly $169+ power flushing is worth the cost. Every 50k or so, I do the drain and refill and maybe again the next oil change or one after.

I change the trans, transfer case, both diffs, and the coolant every 30,000 miles. I do not use synthetic oils. It may be excessive but I like working on the vehicles and I plan on owning this one for a very very long time.
