I'm lost. I have few questions and maybe someone can help me.
My tcase if out of a donor truck that I took out todo my manual swap. It was R150F And whatever tcase was behind. J-shift one.
My transmission went to pooo. Got a used Tacoma transmission R150F. Bolted my old tcase to it. Everything good.
Now the issue my shifters. It leaks oil a little. Not 100% sure out of which one. Looking at my 97 4runer FSM. It shows only a "oil deflector #33144-35030" between the shifter and the transmission housing. When I went to the dealer to get a new one. He printed out the photo for me. It shows a paper gasket then oil deflector. But the FSM shows only oil deflector. I told him to order the paper gasket. The paper gasket does not match up to the mounting holes. It's to big. So is there any paper gasket at all or only oil deflector between the manual shifter and transmission.
Now to the tcase. The FSM shows a paper gasket with oil deflector. Another page shows paper gasket, oil deflector and paper gasket.
What he printed out shows gasket only.
