TRD Tundra lift questions. HELP

I found a set of 2002 4x4 trd tunda front coil overs for cheap at a local used parts lot. Before I pull the trigger I have a few NEWBIE questions. Some basic info before I ask- I have an 02 t4r 4x4, I already have the rear part- lc 7.5 wrap and lc tokico rear shocks.

If I do the Tundra lift in the front will the stock tundra Bilsteins work?
Can I add a top plate spacer to gain additional lift with the stock tundra coil and strut set up?

If I am trying to gain about 3.5 inchs of lift what is the best way to do this?
I really want tundra 5100's but will have to save up a little more to make this happen. Worth waiting?

everything but the top hat will work on the tundra struts, you will need to remove the top hat/plate off of your 4runner struts and swap with the tundra ones. but yes other than that its a direct bolt in. you can run additional top out spacers if you so desire. but you probably will not get 3.5" of lift up front. you for sure will not get that from the tundra coils, as they yield 2-2.5 of lift max, when new. you will need to put in a good size spacer to get that 3.5"+ lift. but much over 3" of lift and you run the risk of blowing CVs left and right, the angles become really aggressive/severe at that point and drastically increases wear on parts.

Actually, Jmildoc and I found that you can use the entire setup, including the Tundra top hat if you add a top plate spacer on it. We both have the stock Tundra coilover set up with a Daystar 1" top plate spacer on it. You can pick up a set of them on Amazon for $40ish. They come with extended bolts that simply screw on to the stock ones, then fit the spacer on top of that. Then just slide it into place like normal. Be cause the spacer is on top, it pushes the level of the top hat under the mount, which lets it fit.

You can kind of see the spacer in this pic. I'm like you, I want to get the 5100s, but until I get the extra cash, these are working great. And I love the stance I got with the 7.5 wraps in the back.
