The factory back up camera is functional but not the best. Im a hold out and still using the factory nav unit. It works.
A few issues w the camera - the top of the camera is “hooded” by a portion of the tailgate frame that covers the recessed camera; the resolution is not the best; at night, also a bit hazy
Wondering if anyone has upgraded just the factory camera. I’m not sure if there is a solution to any of the above. I know the camera uses a different voltage from stock so that might make a replacement tricky.
Unless the positioning is changed, number 1 won’t change, not sure if the resolution is limited by the screen or the camera, but maybe number 3 can be addressed?
