Wanna come back

So i havent been to this site for a while, and i really miss my 4runner. I dont know if i mentioned this but the new vehicle i am driving is a 2004 Cadillac Escalade. i know you all may be wondering why an escalade?, but trust me i got a steal on it. I love that caddy. it has 20 inch rims, it looks hot and my system in there is bomb. The only thing that sucks about it is that it uses premium gas. I am most likely going to sell it and buy a 4runner. what you guys think? I need a second opinion on this, before i actually commit. I was also thinking about getting a 4X4 4runner or a truck.

If it were me I'd ditch that caddy before it leaves you somewhere. It all depends on taste I guess. Some folks won't be seen in anything but the latest bling mobile. Some are more function over form. I've never been a fan of the escalade so maybe its a biased opinion. I have had co-workers and friends that have had escalades though. From what I've seen I wouldn't own one. Its ok though, trade that sucker for a 4runner and come on back.

By the way, my bone stock SR5 4x4 V6 is faster than your caddy!

:iagree: with the ditch the Caddy.

You can run the Caddy low on gas, fill it with regular, go home and disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. It'll take a few days to 'learn' the lower octane but it'll be fine. The MPG and power may be a hair lower. During the first few days it may knock a bit when floored, after that it'll be fine. It 'needs' the premium to deliver the full rated horsepower and the EPA MPG rating but that's it... Now, the Northstar Caddy cars really need at least mid-grade but the Escalade motor is fine on 87.

Id ditch it. I traded my 06 4R on a 370Z, and wasnt happy so now I am back in a T4R and loving it. Only you can make the choice, dont do something youll regret or wont be happy with.
