I just moved to Kent, WA and I’m looking for trail info. In Colorado we had a few options that would describe trails/document them. Trailsoffroad.com has a few for out here. What do you locals use?
Every first Saturday of the month Quadrapaws Offroad club has an event at Tahuya, near Belfair, Wa. Tahuya is a great place to get your feet wet.

There are a ton of forest service roads that you can stay on for days if you choose just be careful sometimes the bridges and roads are completely wiped out by floods. If you're into more serious off roading there are a few ORV parks or you can head down to the Tillamook forest in OR for some trails.
Thanks for all the tips! I’m not into crazy off-roading/smashing stuff but I like to avoid the crowds and hit some fun trails and get away for the weekend to camp
I ended up going out to long beach Wa. Apparently there is 28 miles of beach you can drive on but I believe the majority of it is just hard pack sandI live in Renton and have gone out to Tahuya a couple times. I have also stumbled upon a couple forest roads that where fun to explore. This weekend I'm planing on going up to walkers valley this weekend to check it out. I have searched for off road groups but it seems to be kinda hit or miss for the most part for me

4th of july Up on Manastash ridge:gossip: Up there every year had a rock buggy now I have a pretty much stock 1999 4runner...will be up there this year!!
Not sure how difficult of a trail you're looking for, but there are quite a few up around Snoqualmie Pass that are pretty great on my stock '10 TE. Found em using satellite pics. Another great spot is out by Ellensburg off Umptanum road, there's a dirt road called Durr Road that became quite rough but led to some amazing views.
