Just putting this out there. Someone ran into my 2003 LTD w/23000 miles.
Right front suspension broken loose and free from car. Body shop says 'frame
bent'. Waiting for adjuster to call, probably totaled. Question is should I
or anybody buy back for parts. As of today, I don't have the buy/back price
yet. 23000 miles on V8 with timing belt and WP last year (10 years). Runs perfectly. Interior like new grey leather, all body panels other then RF fender and bumper area like new, four premium wheels (4) and tires, etc.
Got the numbers from State Farm. They want $2373.93 to buy back as salvage. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the space and ability to strip it and resell. It is now stored inside and has to be towed, no RF wheel. I would like a couple of hundred more to defray cost of the rental.
