What does a 2000 SR5 4R need?

Just bought a 2000 SR5 4Runner 4X4 V6, Auto trans, Sunroof, Burgundy, from out of state. Haven't taken delivery of it quite yet. Since we are moving to TX I am having it delivered to SATX and registering it in a family members name for now.

It has 107K miles. It was a one owner 4R that I am told he had all the maintenance properly done only up thru 75K miles and all oil changes done.
This is the V6 4WD. What do I need, or what should I expect to have done on this as far as repairs or maintenace with now 107,000 miles serviced only up to 75,000 miles?? (supposedly they did change oil as required). Timing belt are good til???

Also, how can I find out what should have been done from day one, and do all Toyota dealers keep a national database of what was done on all Toyotas?

did you have it inspected by a mechanic before purchasing?

that pdf shows what shouldve been done at 75K. keep going up in intervals, and try to piece it together.

timing belts do indeed normally need changing at your current mileage.

I cant really be sure of the true history.
I bought it thru a used car dealer in IN that is apparently part of several dealerships - like an auto group.
I checked and it has been a one owner from day 1 and clean title carfax. No I did not hire a mechanic to look at it as I already figured on spending some money - just my luck. Plus, I would rather start at low price and fix up from there in my own way.

(I requested) the salesman said he called the seller, and the guy told the salesman he took it in at the 75K service but never got around to any big service after that.
I got it about $3-4K under private party Kelley Blue book (depending on what zip code you use) and if I spend a couple thousand more or do some major service on it now its no problem.

you should really have had a mechanic look at it.

there are things that could be wrong that are expensive, and not "fun" projects.

Usual good practice when you buy a new car is change ALL the fluids. No matter what the previous owner says I always flush the radiator, change the oil, brake fluid, and diff fluid if it's RWD/4WD. Kinda weird the owner of your 4r stopped servicing it at 75k I would change the belts since thats about the time it's supposed to be done and now yours as 100k+.

I am thinking this will cost me a few hundred to do.
A guy up in Utah told me his buddy never changed the oil and just sold the 4Runenr with 100K miles.

synthetics can go for a long time, but 100K? thank god i didnt buy his 4runner...

well that is what some guy in UT told me his friend told him.

In the 80s I saw a Corvette engine blow that had never had an oil change. Only lasted 80K miles.

As far as the one I bought I am convinced it was changed regularly - they claim 3K mile changes

You can take care of the minor things such as acc belts, fluids, plugs, ignition wires and other misc.
