What Toyota models have same hard brake line?

2000 T4r Ltd, Tundra brake rotor/caliper upgrade

I am finishing complete rebuild of the front suspension and am down to one last part;

I need the hard brake line on the port side which goes from the caliper to the flex-line fitting mounted on the steering knuckle.

Went to salvage yard today and all three vehicles had line either cut or crushed.

Would someone tell me which other models of Toyota would use that same line? Seems the 4Runners are in short supply at the yards here in Denver.

Some one said Sequoia or Tundra would be good to check. Hoping for something more specific if possible.

Maybe go to the dealership and have them look up the part number other option is you could buy line and bend it yourself lots of tutorials online

I first put the Tundra upgrade on a 1998 T4r a few years ago and old parts went to metal salvage. Later, I bought the Ltd and swapped the parts out so there're no leftovers.

I have the hard lines from both sides if you need them. They are a bit beat up from me bending them a little to clear Sway Away stock length coilover lower eyelets, but worked fine for years before I removed them recently. I replaced them with extended length steel braided banjo bolt style fittings when I went long travel, so I don’t need them. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Yea, When I did it to the limited puppy hauler I used the hard line from the old calipers.

dunno if the same, but the 2003-2009 4Runner/GX470 front caliper hard lines can be used on the 1996-2002 4Runner front calipers. probably the ones from the 2010-current 4Runners/GX460 can also be used.

I ended up going to Autozone and buying hard brake line and using a brake line bender pliers to get the same shape when I was in a pickle. Has worked great the past couple years.

I have heard of individuals upgrading the hard brake line to a flex line like how some Tacos have them. I believe they connect to the caliper with a banjo bolt. I just havnt really looked into it, but it sounds interesting
