what years of p-u or 4runner have the same interior?

I need some interior pieces for my 87 1st gen 4runner. What years can I get interior pieces from? Is the pickup the same and what years for it? Are there any good ones in wreckers i can go salvage some parts from in the GTA?

I dont know much about first gens, except that they are badass. Try Yotatech. A lot more first genners there...

Depending on the options of the truck, 1st gen 4runners from 87-89 had the same interior peices (SR5s to SR5s, DLX to DLX etc) as the 2nd gen 4x4 pickups from 87-88. The older trucks and 4runners from 84-86 had the older style dashboard and interior. As for finding parts for the trucks, I had some luck at Scarborough auto wrecker at their pick in pull a couple years back. I went again this year and there was no 1st gen 4runners or 2nd gen 4x4 pickups only a few 2nd gen 4runners. If you need some interior pieces give Tristan a call at 647 273 4015 and tell him Gabe sent you. He usually has some parts trucks lieing around to grab stuff out of.

Thanks man, I didnt really do much, just took off the valence and put on a custom checkerplate skidplate.
