which has more issues, V8 or V6?

I do have a V6. I guess in the end, both are good based on what each person prefer and loves. we can all argue day and night and that will never stop. Just enjoy your ride, that is all that counts. Just remember, We can all make America great again! :lookout:

Must have a v6 :gossip:

Yeah based on the minimal paper difference I went with the V6. Then I drove a GX470 for a few days and damn, forget the paper stats, the V8 has a lot more torque down low. I bet it would be obvious if we compare dyno curves. Now the V6 is great and I love my 20 highway mpg as I drive some 70-100 miles every day but if I had to make the choice again I'd probably have gone with the V8.

all highway, I think I could pull 20 also. as it is, I get 16-17 mostly in town, with a very short stint on the freeway each day.

The V8 can put out 270 lb/ft at only 1000 rpm. The V6 makes 282 lb/ft max at 3800 rpm. Big difference.

If you actually tow then the V8 makes a lot of sense, but I actually like the V6 for a wheeling rig.

I dont tow with my 4Runner, I hate doing it, even the V8 is under-powered if you have a toy hauler with sand toys... I have a different truck for that stuff.
