whining noise on acceleration

I have a 99 with 3.4. I have researched this issue on the forums and found some similar issues. I have a whining noise when i accelerate while driving or even when i rev up in park or neutral. It is coming from the driver side of the vehicle in the engine compartment. I looked at some other threads that said the transfer case was a possibility or transmission pump. I changed my transmission fluid about 5k miles ago. I changed my rear and front dif fluid and my xfer case last week. I though it may have been the alternator so i removed my alternator belt and started the vehicle and did a quick test. Noise was still occurring. Last night i took my timing belt cover off and started my vehicle to see if i could visually see anything. Did not notice anything that could of made the noise. I did change my timing belt and water pump probably about 1k miles ago and the problem started about 500 miles after i did the timing belt. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you
