Who uses Royal Purple 5w-30?

Who here uses Royal Purple 5w-30 in their T4R? I've heard a lot about and am wondering whether next time I change my oil if I should use that? I have seen the YouTube video about it and it looks awesome :jaw drop: but I just wanted some other opinions. And yes, my jaw really was dropping like that...

I run it in my 4runner. First time through I changed it before 3k since it was so black from cleaning out my engine. Now going on 3k plus and it's barely dirty.
In doing some research I have seen where guys will go 5-10k on Royal Purple with one filter change along the way.
Not sure yet how far I'm going to go, just going to keep an eye it for now.

I dont trust it. Use mobil 1. Ive seen several engines, friends of mine, who ran royal purple in their trucks from day one and ended up going through several motors using it before he finally sold the truck and stopped using rp. This was his wifes suburban who does not drive hard and has an excursion with 330k on it now. Imho mobil 1 is a superior oil to rp. look around and read some more about it and you will find that there is a lot of conflicting info about it where as you wont find near as much bad about mobil 1. I run mobil 1 and a toyota filter and have never had a problem.

Go to wally world pick up some M1 and your favorite filter and call it a day.

Don't have a T4R yet, but going to get one soon. I always have and always will use Amsoil. I only change my oil and filter once a year since it is guaranteed for 15k heavy duty to 25k light duty use when using their filters also. My truck is a 94 Ranger with 240,000 miles and runs like a top. A lot of good oils out there if you change them a lot, but I prefer a guaranteed oil that you don't have to change.
