Why is the 4 Runner a better choice over the Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The new GCJ looks pretty sweet, pretty sure its gonna be my moms next car in a few years. It's just a sweet vehicle, seems more refined, plus she had a ZJ once and loved it.

JGCs look and drive great. They are much more refined; almost the feel of a luxury car. But they're quite a bit smaller than the 4runner. I wouldn't plan on keeping one long-term (self-destruct mode initiates around 75k miles). It would be a great 3-4 year lease vehicle if that's your thing.

One is a Jeep and the other is a Toyota. Sit in both and I think you will see the difference in workmanship. As others have said, if you are keeping the truck for many years, Toyota is the way to go.
