WILL Headlight Bulb Conversion (H11 to H9 & 9005 to 9011)

Hello guys-

I am new to the forum and my first post. I own a 2006 4runner v8 Sport Edition. I have been looking to switch out my weak sauce headlights to a whiter more bright light. I want a plug and play and found this great Headlight Bulb Conversion (H11 to H9 & 9005 to 9011) But it is for a 5th GEN. I looked and I believe the bulbs are the same for the 4th and 5th gen headlights.

QUESTION- are the 4th GEN headlight bulbs and the 5th GEN headlight bulbs the same and will the thread below work for my 2006 sport V8

it is brighter than stock with that mod, but hids are brighter than hirs. cost isthe same i think if you get cheap ass ddm kits, but spend more for quality trs kits.

When you say "cheap ass ddm kit" I know you mean not a lot of money to get, but do you also mean quality?

I see that it could be implied that quality's not great, but I'm looking for hard data here to support it if so.

Ive had 3 sets of DDM tuning HID kits, the bulbs arent worth a crap, the ballasts hold up fine, Get TheRetrofitSource bulbs and order the ballasts from DDM tuning and call it a day, i have TRS HIDs and they are flawless.

I think it's safe to say that many of is have tried bulb upgrades first and ended up going HID.

Ddm is cheaper, TRS is more but generally better quality. Though Ddm does have good warranty service it seems?

Warranty? I never got a replacement ballast when ddm was selling apexcone , they were thick, I had one go out about a year and a half later, I did pay for the lifetime warranty, never ever responded back, Quality of there ddm ballast is alright, not the best if you compare to trs, hyluxtek.
