Wrong length Neo bulbs?

Just got new bulbs for the climate control cluster and figured I'd replace all the bulbs with LEDs while I was in there (the backlight stuff). Doing all amber and keeping the stock look. Ordered Neo T4 for the LCD panel (perfect!) and I got 4 T3's for the climate control knobs. None of them seemed to fit a T3? I also realized that the outside two were T3 TALL models, not the regular short bulbs. Any way I salvage this or shouldn't the short bulbs fit in the middle? If it helps I've got dual climate control.

How do they not fit? Width? Length? You may have to really push them down, I did. And you may have to remove and rotate 180 degrees. Small screw driver and small needle nose pliers are key here. Be patient. If its depth/length rub the acrylic top of led on sandpaper and file it down.

The new screw heads are these weird phillips heads that have very wide slots so no screw driver fits, its all gonna be needle nose. Gave it a shot while I was in the car a few minutes ago (dark) so I didn't really get a good shot at it (will do tomorrow when I get the chance). The stock bulbs are super easy to install so I hoped the T3's would be the same. Have you noticed anything with tall bulbs vs short ones with the climate control backlights? They are all T3's right?

There are 5 different bulbs:

They will all fit, you might have to barely rub it on sandpaper. Ignore the lengths.

Do it in the light, be smart and think before jamming in etc patience young one!
