Yup...idiot, stretched my ABS harness

Heard some creaking on front passenger side and removed my wheel and SPC UCA to clean and regrease. Must have stretched my ABS harness as I'm getting all 3 lights flashing.(locking-diff, Trac Control, )

I've a TRD Pro and wondering it thats the same harness as the others. Also, if anyone knows the OEM part number so I can order and replace myself. Used a volt meter and def seems to be the wire. I've considered a DIY, but for 80bucks would rather have an OEM harness.

Ouch - sorry to hear. If it were me, I'd contact a dealership and get OEM. $80-ish isn't too bad, certainly not enough to try a DIY rig to save a few dollars.

It happens, get an OEM harness. It's pretty straightforward to replace.

You can mail order them from various dealers for around $50. Or splice speaker wire. I'd replace with OEM. But I have done a field repair on my own with speaker wire and it worked just fine until I got a replacement OEM part. These are not a high sensitivity item. It's a digital signal that either works or doesn't. There's no in-between.

I think I may have done the same.. mine has been variously displaying the traction control light... the terrain light and the 4x4 high light for the past few days... sometimes all.. sometimes none.
I just havent had time to take it in to toyota to see if its the harness or a speed sensor or what.

I replaced mine recently thinking it was the harness but it wasn't. Happy to send you my old one if you're interested.

i would be interested in the abs harness your trying to get rid of as I stretched mine installing my leveling kit it’s about to drive me crazy with all the lights on lol

Buy the new harness and eat the cost, don't try to repair the old one. I tried this on my '07 4Runner, didn't get the weather seals perfect and it leaked water into the wheel speed sensor connection. The pins corroded and caused an intermittent failure...ABS went haywire. One day I stepped on the brake pedal, ABS saw zero speed from that wheel and nearly spun the vehicle.

I actually would recommend you try and fix this. I stretched my during my UCA install and ended up cutting both ends and replacing with new wire. This fixed the issue and it's much stronger. Super easy, cut both ends and solder wire between. I did a write up some where in the forum.
