Has anyone installed this setup on a 2014/15 Limited yet? The 6112/5160s ?
How does this setup compare to the stock x-reas setup? I find with the x-reas the truck handles well with little body lean in corners and less nose diving than the Trail Edition (my brother has a trail), however can be a little harsh on rough roads.
Is it worth ripping out the stock setup? I went with the Limited because this is my wife's daily driver to chauffeur the kids around so I had to make her happy! However, like most on here are not impressed with the wheel/tire setup Toyota went with.
So with researching a new wheel/tire setup I am now intrigued with the Bilstein shocks.
I like the fact that I can get a small lift in the front with the adjustable settings. My winter tires rubbed a little (265/70/17 Duratracs) and this would solve that and allow for more aggressive summer tires. I Really like the Nitto Trails.

A few members have, hopefully they will chime in. We have yet to drive on that limited suspension much.

If this is your wifes DD I don't see a reason to rip out XREAS. With the proper tire and wheel setup you shouldn't rub at all, especially if you're just going with stock size tires. I also don't see a reason for MTs on a DD either. I'd go with a good set of HT tires for the summer and dedicated winter tires like the Blizzaks or Nokians.
Here is one persons experience with the 6112/5160 combo on a Limited and an honest initial review

This may be my wife's DD during the week, but, its my play toy on the weekend. I take it off-roading quite a bit and plan on even more, and it was my wife that didn't like the stiff suspension. So if I can get a new setup that works good for both of us, I would do the swap.
I am running the 265/70/17 duratracs in the winter, which are amazing tires for all the conditions. I want to run either a Nitto Terra Grappler or Trail Grappler during the summer. I ride a lot of sand trails (and of course the occasional mud hole which is hard to avoid 😄😄😄! Which is why I like the more aggressive tread pattern of the trails!
Plus lets be honest, an aggressive looking tire looks awesome! I didn't buy a 4Runner to run to the mall! I bought this because they are tough, well built and extremely capable offroad, even in stock form.

We have the 6112s, but the 5160s are still backordered. I would suggest going up a notch to compensate for the weight
