My creaking/popping was apparently coming from the seat rails. Dealer is replacing the rails under warranty.

Has anyone found the culprit for this? My TRD OR just started doing it and it drives me crazy! It only has 900 miles on it! 😩

mine started around 1000 miles as well; took it in and the dealership said it was the rails and due to having the seat all the way back (I'm 6'4"). I moved the seat forward and the noise stopped.

I've had the same thing at least when it comes to the popping ha. Always wondered what it was but figured it had to do with my weight (over 200 lbs). Never thought of adjusting my seat.

lubed the seat rails with silicone brake grease seats move better, less pop when adjusting .. when it the position I like no movement of noises.

I had this problem on my gm truck . there was a rubber stop that broke down so I fabricated a rubber to set in that spot no more seat popping .. had to do both seats. GM truck was 10 yrs old when this started got worse so I had to break it all down took a few hours ..

My 2015 TE has been doing this from the drivers seat when vehicle in motion. I can recreate it by taking a slow wide turn. I will do it with the AC and audio off. Back seat does it too when I have passengers. Gonna have stealer ship look at it on my next service. Its annoying for sure!

forgive me if im missing something but I have noticed a slight squeak as of today as well as a click or pop coming form my drivers seat as I drive. 18,000 Km only on the car. are you guys able to give more detail on exactly what the issue is everyone is experiencing? is this a constant sound when you move, or when the vehicle moves? is it coming from the seat or the frames of the seat?

just trying to pin point if im having the same issue everyone else is

My seat just started popping randomly. Ironically I just made an adjustment so I guess I will keep adjusting it a little bit to see if that helps. I can recreate the sound by rocking forward and backward.

Interesting... My 2020 ORP also has same issue. Started at less than 10K miles. My workaround is to move the seat about one inch form all the way back.

My 2011 4R limited also had this issue. As well as there being a loose piece of plastic or metal inside the steering wheel metal housing.
