nothing really in the lower mainland per se....

if you're in north van, you can head up squamish or east to chilliwack/hope.

harrison is nice too both east and west sides.

do you have a back roads map book?

Wouldn't bother looking looking for trails around the lower mainland. Like jca21 said, grab a backroads mapbook and head east, or up to Squamish.

Thanks guys,

I've explored a bunch of the trails just past Furry Creek (exit on the right at the top of the huge straight hill), some very tricky terrain up in there when you pull away from the power lines. I was actually thinking to explore further east, out towards chilliwack or hope but harrison also seems like it might be fun.

Oh, yes, I do have the book, so if you know any specific routes worthy to seek out, let me know

vedder mountain is pretty stocker with some harder side trails. there are some amazing views though at the pull outs and look outs.

peg leg bar in chilliwack is fun too. great place to take the road and try to catch a few late season salmon or early steelheads.

up in hope, jones lake is fun. pretty easy but its a gorgeous area.

callaghan lake past squamish is gorgeous too.

both harrison east and west are nice. you can check out hale creek and sunrise lake.

east side you can drive up to the land slide area and explore.

you can also head up norrish/sylvester too which arent too bad.

stave lake is alright, most people head over to the mud flats to ruin their trucks, not my cup of tea but there are alot of chute trails up stave. just watch out for re****s with guns.

waitin to get out again!

I have just finished the house move in and now will need to get back to workin again I guess, it sure seems to get in the way of having fun. I will try and do most of my work through the week so I can wheel on the weekends (if my customers will let me).

Drop me a note anyone as I wold like to get out again.

Stabbotsford... oops, I mean Abbotsford here. Anyone else in the fraservalley here go to Stave Lake at all? I often go to the east side of the lake. Lots of great trails there.
