Wanted: 3rd Gen Sport Hood Millennium Silver
I am looking for a 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner sport hood (the one with the scoop) in Millennium Silver in very nice shape. I want to swap out the flat one on my 99 4Runner. Let me know what you have. Only interested in Millennium Silver in very nice shape please as I'm not able to swing getting it painted right now. I'm in Santa Rosa, CA (north Bay Area). Let me know how much you want for it, your location, and any pictures. I would consider trading hoods too, if someone has a sport hood but wants the flat instead.
Thanks!

Still looking for a nice complete silver sport hood. Swap with you, or pay cash. Will travel a couple hours for a nice one.
Thanks!

You'll have much better luck buying the hood from Ceritifit ($90), the scoop parts from Toyota ($125), and having it painted ($150ish). Many people have gone the route, and I've yet to see someone just offer one up for sale.

Agreed, you can have it done for about $300-$350. I think that is about what I paid.

Bear in mind not everyone is OK with cheap ill-fitting aftermarket parts. I would never bolt a cheap Taiwan aftermarket replacement part on my 4Runner. Fitment is terrible with Taiwan parts, and I want the lines to be precise and crisp if I am spending hundreds on a hood.

And this experience of body panel fitment comes from what? It's a hood. On a 14 year old Toyota. Keep your stock hood if your worried about it. I can say no one looking at a 4runner with a scoop hood is gonna say. Um is that a Toyota hood or aftermarket. There just gonna see that it looks bad ass with a sport hood.

I don't need to get into a back and forth pissing match about who knows what about Toyotas and bodywork, nor do I need to provide my credentials. When I am looking at a vehicle to buy I absolutely care about fitment, finish, and low grade aftermarket parts. Same goes with my personal vehicles. I want it to be perfect. So don't say "no one"
