WTB: Taco 4wd ABS spindles + manual hubs
Ok, still looking for the manual hub parts but don't need the spindles and it doesn't matter about the ABS (figured that one out now).
So, I'm looking for the '95.5-'04 Tacoma base 4x4 manual locking hub pieces to put on my 3rd gen 4runner. So, if you have the silver/black locking hubs in NICE condition (no damage, especially hammer damage from beating them off - yes i just said that) then I would like to talk to you!

A dude on the Denver CL has a set. Not sure if it exactly what you want, but FYI. He does want $600 for the set, seems high personally, but I don't know for sure.
He's been trying to get rid of them for months!

I just looked on the denver CL and saw the post you referred to. There is also another guy that has a TON of parts listed left over from his SAS that is even cheaper, sent him a message. Wish I lived closer, I'd take it all off his hands but shipping would be a killer unfortunately. Thanks for the heads up!
Still on the hunt though.

That's out of my price range. I was looking at $200 max for the spindles. I can order brand new spindles at cost through work for about what the $600 guy is asking. Is your $150 price pair ABS? Sonoran Steel and various Toyota parts sites have ABS spindles listed but I just got a PM from Deathcougar (and he should know) saying they don't exist. I'll keep looking for the Holy Grail I guess.

Considering Downey sold the setup for $1000 or something like that, this price is ok. Not great, but hard to find.
Also, the guy in the Denver ad doesn't have ABS.
To Clarify, OP is looking for ABS Manual Hub spindles. To my knowledge (12+ years at Toyota) they do not exist. Some Tacomas did have ABS, but NONE of them were Manual hubs. The only way to get ABS was ADD equipped vehicles.
If someone can verify I am wrong, I would like to once and for all know. If you have manual hubs on your Tacoma and bought it new like that, let me know!

I've got one side with a bad bearing, make an offer, also to my knowledge abs and manual hubs were never available together.

Also, Toyota only has TWO part numbers for the bare spindles.
WITH ABS RH 43201-35080
WITH ABS LH 43202-35070
WITHOUT ABS RH 43201-35070
WITHOUT ABS LH 43202-35060
The 4Runner and the Tacoma share the SAME spindle for ABS equipped trucks.
Downey's kit required you reuse your old spindle, if you had abs (4Runners) and wanted to retain ABS, then used all the guts from Tacoma Manual hub spindles

OK, I've got my head on straight now. Here is a picture from Toyota Parts Direct's website showing that you can order Tacoma knuckles, W/ABS, and Manual Hubs. I put in vehicle info for a base model 4x4 1997 Tacoma and these came up. What do you think?

Reason: incorrect info

I think that website is incorrect, but I can't be 100% sure.
What I do know is there are only two part numbers available per side for the bare spindle; W/ Abs, and W/O Abs. I listed those numbers above.
Since Manual hub OR ADD parts can be put into either spindle, the only difference between the two is the hole drilled for the ABS sensor. They both use the same bearing. This is why you can take Tacoma manual hub guts and put them in your 4Runner spindles, and retain ABS.

JOSH!!! I had no idea you could do that!!! I was under the impression that the spindles for the manual hubs were different to accommodate the different hubs. I guess I should have asked the simpler question first and saved us all a boat load of grief!
I do believe you will have a new PM in your inbox about some manual hubs shortly. Thanks again Josh, I will never doubt your superior Yota brain again!

Bump!
Still looking for good condition manual hubs and cv axles from '95.5-'00 Tacoma. I had a set and they were too beat up from being hammered off the hubs so i'm still on the hunt. Pm me with what you have and price, also some good pics for condition to save us both time and money. Thanks.
