Placed an order tonight. Do you have these in stock yet or still waiting on Camburg?

Quick and Cheap Mod for Camburg UCA's w/ Moog Ball Joints

I installed these Camburg UCA's w/ Moog ball joints in my Gen 5 4Runner in conjunction with a 3" Old Man Emu lift (both purchased from Wheeler's). The alignment resulted in a maximum caster adjustment of 2.9 degrees. Good? Within Toyota specification but I was hoping for more.

Anyway ... I was debating forking out $40 for the ball joint protection caps when I got to nosing around the dimensions of this particular ball joint. It turns out the OD of the ball joint is equal to the OD of 2" sch 40 PVC pipe and hence the ID of the recepticle.

So here is a better cap for a better price. I did not use PVC cement because I did not want to have a vacuum lock.

Cut the 2" nipple such that the end cap fits snug against the UCA and use a small amount of grease on the nipple ...

These caps fit snug and will not come loose ...
