Seriously though it is just a duplicolor spray bomb from farm and fleet. I think it was called just like graphite. Its a dark gray with metal flake. I did everything in it so far including my headlights and wheels.

Hope it holds up for you. I had mine powder coated with semi-gloss black. They had a color that was similar to a bare metal color, can't recall the name of it. It looks like the color you used. I considered that color as well. I am happy with the black color.

Yea I was going to ask you where you got yours done and if you didn't mind sharing about how much it ran you? I think i will strip the paint and get it power coated for cost at my co-op depending on how big their oven is.

Here is a close up pic of the headlights and a little bit of the bumper. Like I said they are the same color, but you can really see the "true" color in the headlight.

Got some Weather Tech floor mats yesterday Just in time for winter too, I had just began to snow as I was putting this puppies in. From my experience with my last set in my tacoma I would say this is the best mod that you can do to any vehicle. They really improve the overall utility of the vehicle

I had mine done by a local shop. I paid $150 to have it done. Guessing it would not be work a couple trips here to have it done here.

Does your subwoofer hum ever? If the truck is on, and I disengage the parking brake it starts to hum, but then it turns off if I switch the headlights all the way on...?!?! Anything like this ever happen? I have a JVC head unit and a Pyramid 2000W amp with a BOSS 2100W sub. I have ground and hot running direct to the battery (inline fuse on hot) going down the drivers side, and then the amp on and whatever you call the actual signal line that goes from the amp to the headunit both running down the passenger side. It's really annoying so I just always have my headlights on, though at some point I'll go and coat everything in aluminum foil to cut down on whatever signal is interfering with the amp assuming it's not something else... Any ideas?

very nice looking truck.
I think you should paint the projector shroud to match the housing to eliminate the bug eye look, assuming you didn't glue the shroud on. When I did mine I simply pushed the shroud on and did not glue it.
When I did it (2nd pic) , I simply took a 3M pad to the chrome paint to scuff it up before painting it grey.

Nah it doesn't hum.... I ran the wires the same way as you so I doubt that would be the issue. The only thing that I can think of is that since I spent some extra $$ on my wiring kit the insulation is strong enough to avoid the problem you have? Ill do some more thinking on it though...
I doubt it would be the ground, but when you are grounding the amp in the future the shortest wire possible is best. I just scuffed around a bolt right behind my amp and attached it that bolt.

I did glue the shroud on, but it is no big deal to snap it off... I like the chrome for now until I paint my grill something different. It makes it seem like the chrome grill still has a place on the truck lol.
The reason that I glue them though is because on my tacoma retrofit I had a shroud fall off and then I had to pull my newly complete retro apart again. True story...
