Congrats on getting to engineering school, one of the best degrees you can get these days. Tons of jobs out there. There are more MEs here per capita than any other place I have seen.. except back at school.

In for bumper pics, love addicted's stuff.

Also, really like the sway bar disconnects. How much did you get them for?

Edit: Really jealous of you living in highlands ranch. My sister lives there and its amazing. Hoping to move to CO in the next year or two.

Hell yeah, there are a few T4R members up here in Fort Collins. We will get some people together for a trail run or something this fall.

Thanks! I've always loved my engineering classes (went to a STEM school), and so I'm hoping that I will enjoy these next classes as much as I did the old ones!

Bumper pics are next post!!

Got the sway bars for right around $200 from @MStudt . They're a bit pricey, but they're super beefy and extremely helpful.

Definitely move to CO! It's such a cool place and there's always something new to do or see!

Bumper is ON!! ...and I'm in love with it. @AddictedOffroad thanks for making such a nice product!

Some pictures!

I managed to get it on Saturday morning, about 30 minutes before I met up with @Asaspades93 , @bambi_runner6 , @colorado4runnin , and others for a trail run!

Kinda a group pic? We never really stopped to take a good one, but this shows who was there: 5 3rd gens!

We ran Slaughterhouse Gultch... what a mess. With all of the rain we have gotten recently, the trail became much more difficult than anyone could imagine. In the above picture you can see how far sunk in my tire is, it was suuuper soft. The list of broken stuff just goes on and on.. LBJs, door panels, fenders, etc.

The bumper did well though, as I was able to use it for a few recoveries, like the following picture shows:

I'm really happy with how it's starting to look. The bumper makes it sooo much better... Next up, sliders!

Great wheel choice, I went with the same ones and love them. 4" BS and clear big 231mm brakes!

Aaaand sliders!

They're just the basic TrailGear 67" sliders, but it's so much better than nothing..

I'm not quite used to having a step (as I made them come out enough to act as one), but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Hooray, more armor!

So much work I've done in the past 4 days in prep for Rock Therapy. I'm leaving in about an hour... SO EXCITED!

Back from Moab after Rock Therapy 2015!

It was an absolute blast! I had such a great time, met some awesome people, and ran some amazing trails. The weather was nearly perfect too, not too hot and a few clouds in the sky. The views in Moab and the surrounding area are so amazing!

Just to mention a few of the people I met:
@steezemcqueen
@BrianSD_42
@TBuzz
@FalconFixer
@mk1noob
@TheArkMaster
@4x4runner2002
@ur2ez22

It was great to meet you all and talk/wheel with you!

The damage list:
- Gas tank is pretty dented now (not a clue which rock was responsible for this)
- Fenders are trying to become widebody fenders... oops. Both fronts don't line up very well anymore and the corner lights don't either
- Fender flares are very rubbed away and many mounts are now broken
- Rear lower control arms took a beating
- The front bumper, rear bumper, sliders, and skid plate all have some nice scrapes and dents on them now (but that's what they're there for!)
- Flat exhaust tip (which I absolutely do not care about)

It really isn't terrible, and honestly, well worth it..

After this trip, I have a few maintenance items and mods/upgrades I need to do:
- Replace both LBJ & UBJ
- Clearance the fender flares/fenders
- Chop exhaust back/ weld on something with higher clearance
- Move CB to unswitched power (not relying on key)
- Get unswitched power under the seat - I needed to charge things, but didn't always want to leave the key in the ignition & unlocked
- Figure out if fuel gauge works and is accurate, along with new tank capacity
- Get better lighting for the rear cargo area (it was tough trying to see everything in the middle of the night)
- Bumpstop extensions

The next few posts will be for each day's pictures, as I ran Top of the World, Gold Bar Rim/Golden Spike, and Hell's Revenge! There's over 1500 pictures I took... can't hurt to have too many, but now I have to take the time to go through all of them!

For now, have a few teasers:

Great meeting you man. Yeah, my fuel gauge goes from 1/4 to empty in 20 miles now... and I have lost 3 gallons of fuel capacity

I look forward to wheeling with all of you again.

Good wheeling with you!

You wheeled your open/open truck better than a lot of people did all locked up.
