5th Gen Marker Lights in Grill

Hey there, didn't see a thread discussing this, nor can I seem to find much info at all, but I saw these marker lights that look pretty sick on the runner. Wondering if anyone knows which lights they are/how to get them wired up? Thanks in advance

They just look like cheapie universal amber led markers. Should be able to find something on eBay or Amazon.

As for wiring, I'd either tap the marker light cct so they flash along with your signals, or maybe they'd be cool to just come on with the DRLs or headlights. Personal preference, really.

Maybe 3 little subtle oval LEDs might look cool too. Raptor-esque.

I'm running these flea-bay LED lights as markers in my grill. Don't know how long I'll keep them. I go back and forth on how it looks. $10 or something. Search Amber eagle eyes. Wired directly into the turn signal wires.

That looks sweet too! Didn't think for it as a blinker, thought it might be cool just as a semi truck kinda look. Any suggestions on more elongated lights?

Definitely like the raptor idea, but be on wit drl's and headlights. Would wiring them with the drl's solely do the trick for this?
I was thinking something like these:

I have Amber Rigid lights on my rig too I may wire in if k decide I don't like the angel eyes. There are tons of options like that tbh. Rigid are a bit spendy for just turns but they are damn sexy.

What color wire do I tap for DRL??

Bringing back an old thread here...

But I just ordered 4 amber marker lights to run in my grille, i'm planning on wiring them to come on with the DRL but I'm not sure which wire to tap into...

I'm going to use a "T" tap into which ever wire the DRL connects to, and run the ground to the chasis.

Has anyone else done this? and if so what color wire should I tap for DRL?

Thanks!

He colored ones in the wire kit. There is a blue on the passenger and green on driver for hot. The other is white with black line.

Thanks! that's exactly what I needed to know. I will tap the positive to the green, drivers side wire directly behind the light somewhere. And negative wire just grounded to chasis.

Will this affect the LED marker lights when I turn my high beams on? since the drl are the same bulbs as high beams...

This mod is on my list.i got the 2 markers from autozone for 7.99/ea and extra wire from lowes. I plan on tapping the side marker and i need to figure out whats the easiest, yet cleanest way to do it. The side marker wire is not long enough to pull and tap so reaching from underneath (see manual to replace marker bulb) might be the way to go. Will work on that tomorrow before the games and report back.

I don't know on the 15 but on the 13 the drl and turns are the same and it works fine with brights on or low beams on.

I really like the front plate placement. Any hassles on this yet?
