First up was removing the "SR5" off of the c-pillar,

Mikey's Build Thread...

Second was blacking out the grille and getting rid of the god awful horn (barely see the red horns in the below picture),

Mikey's Build Thread...

Then I put in a bit of safety gear,

Mikey's Build Thread...

and then the suspension, OW/Radflo 2.5 kit and Light Racing UCAs (teaser pic, more to come in the following days),

Mikey's Build Thread...

I'll get better pictures up in the next few days.

Wheels and tires and an alignment to come in the next couple of days.

Went to Home Depot and got some satin finish no primer paint. Sanded it down a bit to give it a surface to bite, and paint away. I do need to repaint it its starting to chip, maybe more then 1 coat this time.

Yup they are mounted on my XD Series wheels and on the truck. They look incredible and they aren't loud on the road. I am rubbing so I need to do a quick trim. I'll post pics up in the next few days. When we going to get the trucks dirty?

I dont know if I am going to be able to make the surfnsand. Gots work.

The 120 folks are heading up to hollister on the 23rd. Coincidentally, Norcal FJ's will be up there too for a trail clean up. Maybe we can go then?

The anticipation is killing us...

Mikey, any chance you post pics of your rig? I'm really interested in the OW lift with the 285 Duratrac's, so I'm looking forward to the pics.

Definitely will post pics for you. Going to take the rig out tomorrow and get some good pics.

You won't be disappointed with the OW kit. I went with the 2.5 in anticipation of adding weight (bumpers, sliders, skids, drawer in the rear), but even at stock weight it rides great.

The Duratracs are incredible. Aren't too loud on the road, but are uber aggressive for an AT. I got them mainly due to the good reviews in the snow.

And now the next step. Got the alignment done, and the Duratracs and XD wheels put on. Super Happy with the outcome. Now just need to get some sliders, and bumpers once someone finishes them.

Had to do a little trimming but no biggie. Tires sit just a touch out side of the fenders, but the tread is flush. Tires are quite on road, can't wait to get it off road.

Those 9 inch wide wheels give it a great stance!

Looks great Mikey! Please report back with details on highway and off road ride. I'm sorting through the options for my lift and it's proving just a bit more difficult than I wanted.

On the road its great. The ride is firm but very comfortable. The small bumps you feel a bit but the big ones are non-existent. The 2.5 kit works well even with stock weight, but I went with the 2.5 kit in anticipation of adding weight down the road. You could always go with the 2.0 kit if you are not going to add weight. Shoot Andries at Overland Warehouse an email and he can set you up with a kit that works with you. I'll give an honest report of the off-road in a couple of weeks when I hit Hollister up with the 120 guys.

Two thumbs up for OW/Radflo!
