Thanks fellas. I'm looking forward to giving it a shakedown at a local ORP in the next couple of weeks.
I'm finishing up the brakes this week. I didn't like the feel of the stock master cylinder with the huge 2gen 4R calipers, so I put a GM unit in and am struggling to get all of the air out of the lines. Hopefully finish it up tomorrow...

Well done! I like it!
Did you bleed the MC before you attached the brake lines to it? Not trying to insult your intelligence, just asking. If not then you may want to bleed that first.
Do you have any plans to cut the fenders to stuff those 37's?

Yep. I bled it as best I could before hooking it up. I actually was worried about that so we tried bleeding at both lines entries again & only got fluid. I'm thinking that I need to adjust the drums in back & try again. It almost feels like the rears are getting full pressure before the fronts can engage. Since the rears set the pedal height and I'm getting pressure stop about 1/2 down, it's possible... thoughts?
The front wells are already tubbed on the inside and fenders flared & trimmed a bit. The rear is definitely gonna have to be cut....

just a thought, but have you adjusted your rear prop. Valve. with the lift the front will be getting most of the stopping power. you can simply make a little bracket to lift the axle end of rod or just remove the bracket and zip tie it up. What size GM MC did you go with?
love the all white 1st gen runners btw looking great.

More details on the front brakes please! Did those 4gen calipers bolt up or did you fab a bracket? What rotor are you using?

Thanks man. I hadn't thought about the BPV. I had planned to remove it and plug the line in the front pass wheel well, but never go to it.
I ended up just buying the entire kit from Sky, but the MC is the Cardone 10-1584 part number.

Oh ****... typo. They are Gen2 calipers & bolted right up.
Note: you don't need the pads. The Fully Loaded kit comes with them.

What's the advantage of the 2nd gen calipers and the other brake discs? Bigger brakes and stronger calipers?
