@Petromaniac and I were able to meet up at Disney Saturday morning and explore there a little bit. I still need to look thru my gopro videos.

Keystone

What's anyone's thoughts on Keystone this Sat morning? Or anywhere else closer to the Okc metro area. I don't really want to drive more than 2 hours each way.

Anyone know if you can still get on the Canadian River in Moore/Norman? I know we did a day cruise last year with several 3rd gen guys along the river. There's some pretty good sand banks and water crossings.

I think this is where we were able to get access to it last time. It would all depend on how full the river is.

Sundog Trails in Lexington offers river access as well, I think the entry is 10.00.

Sorry about the bumper from another post of yours, I went down by the river off rock creek and it is highly labeled private property. I am leaning towards Sundown Trails - looks mild but fun for a few hours which sounds good to me.

It sucks, but shit happens. Luckily it's very minor and cosmetic.

I'm not surprised about the river, it was a pretty sketchy last time we went. Where is Sundown? Is it here around the metro?

Sundog Trails is in Lexington under the bridge between Lexington and Purcell. There a few youtube videos of the place you can check out. I live in Norman and I'd say its 15-20 minutes south of me off I-35. Entry is 10.00 per car and 5.00 per extra rider. Like I said it looks very mild but I just need to get out and do something offroad and this might cure the fever for now, do the trails and drive on some river bed sounds good to me.. I would like to go around 9 or 10 and be done around lunch is my plan.

Cool, I just looked it up and it's about 55 minutes from my place. If there's a decent group of people who'd be down to cruise I may be in. Sister is coming in town for the weekend so it probably won't be an all day deal though.

Any other metro area guys down to cruise?

So I went to Sundog Trails today, it's ok, mainly a bogg park but has a few trails with fun short climbs. Canadian River access is awesome and the deep sugar sand was fun. I'd go back but pack a cooler full of drinks to watch the local rednecks get stuck to the frame in their mud trucks.
