spoilerdepot.com's rear factory like soiler for 03 and 04??

How does that spoiler compare to that of the factory spoiler. Is it much different.. better/worse? Is there a better one out there?

Hard to tell definitively from the pictures, but it looks similar to the Toyota version. Biggest difference appears to be the brakelight is a bit lower on the spoiler.

Been looking into the spoiler issue as well.

By any chance, anyone have a ballpark figure on how much it would be to color match the spoiler? Would really help in making the decision.

The guys at spoilerdepot will paint it also for an extra charge. But if you look them up on ebay they will paint it for free if you win one of their auctions.

The problem is, im not crazy about that spoiler. I like cause its different but i dont like it cause the light is on the bottom instead of the back.

That's the same reason why I'm holding back on it. I'm concerned that if there's a truck close behind me in stop-and-go traffic, they won't see the spoiler brake light with it at the bottom.

Not a problem with the factory spoiler, but I heard the price is in the range of $400.

My local dealer "Daytona Toyota" wanted $415.00 out the door. Painted, installed, tax and all.

I was wondering if it would it keep dirt from building up on the rear window and ledge?

I don't think it does -- the rear of the truck seems to be the dirtiest part every time we wash it. The spoiler blows the rain down the window, so it stays clearer, but it also blows dirt.

I just looked at my dealer installed spoiler and it looks like that with the light underneath wrapping up on the bottom edge of the spoiler.

I wonder if they changed he design for 04, or if this is another difference between dealer installed and factory installed parts.
