I actually saw Avengers in the movie theater...good movie...but not as powerful pounding (not sure how to describe it) on your senses as the Batman series by Nolan. Avengers are kinda like a kid's wet dream to have all the heroes together to fight the bad guy...well, at least, it was MY wetdream!
(I did order The Avengers from Amazon for $20...one with 3D, BR, and digital copy.)
