Some more available items

Found more items that are reasonably priced.

First is an awning ($99.99) that attaches over the rear hatch:

Second is a tent/awning thing by Kelty, good prices at Cabela's and Campmor:

Third is pretty cool. It's a vestibule (price $129.99) that connects to a six- or eight-person Alaskan Guide Model tent (have to purchase that separately). Offers some privacy in moving from the tent to retrieve items stored in the SUV:

Forth, is a very cool item you can get from Dick's Sporting Goods or Sears, that is the tent with an awning (not as much coverage as the vestibule) for $129.99:

Similar tents also available at following sites:

Keep searching, there's many more products out there. Try checking other forums for other SUV manufacturers. We all got the similar wants when it comes to this subject.

By the way, if you want to leave the windows of your SUV rolled down during camping (sleeping in back, or setting up one of these hatch tents) here's a tip posted by Gbizzle at Xterraownersclub.com:

"I made some window screens for like 10 bucks for the rear windows of my X. Buy some window screen from Home Depot or Lowes then some of that magnetic tape and have a hot glue gun round. Cut the screen glue some of the magnet around the edges and there you go you can leave the windows open and no bugs."
