Sadly that chocolate milk post is untrue. lol
Meal replacement shakes are pretty much a fad, and really only work for short term weight loss (notice i said weight and not fat).
I am not sure if you are just trying to lose weight in general or mostly the fat and keeping most of whatever muscle you currently have, but the in general its 70% diet, 30% exercise. Eat as clean as you can and work out regularly be it cardio, weights, or both.
As for protein shakes (NOT MEAL REPLACEMENTS)
EAS is a decent brand.
Optimum Nutrition makes one of the best whey drinks, a bit pricey nowadays.
Currently im using Dymatize, tastes pretty good: slight aftertaste.
Use fat free milk, one cheat meal a week, make your food in advance so you don't buy fast food or crappy food when ur hungry.
Im not sure what herbalife does or what they put in their meal replacements, but two drinks a day does not sound like what will put you on the right path.. I would look up intermittent fasting if you are still wondering about less meals a day though: i did get an improvement from it, but it got hard to consume enough calories in a 4 hour window for me and i just got lazy lol.
