Presta, 20 years ago, I weighed 269 lbs. in 1 year, went down to 170. Felt that was two low. Brought myself back up to 180. Stayed there until the last couple of years where now I am at 190 and feel great. In the same vain as redsonja, get a copy of the latest "Atkins" book. He was the original advocate of low carb, no sugar etc. etc. worked great for me. Good luck and be safe.
