no, no that is HUGE upgrade over p&s.
What I am trying to convey ( not very well ) is what is your time worth? If you and wife go on vacation and see a nice sunset and want to capture the memory any camera is great for that.
If you want to sell ( blow up large, with great detail ) and say you take three days off and travel 1000 miles for that perfect spot, with sun just so I would want a full frame camera. Just rent if you can't afford. That is what I do.
