It looks like a fun range/pit blaster. Let us know how it functions once he puts some rounds through it. After seeing a few AA kits in action, reliability can be an issue.
I am curious as to why he chose 45 degree irons with what appears to be a 1x red dot.

Although I wouldn't build one myself, I see two reasons why someone would build one:
1. A way to function test SBR uppers prior to your tax stamp coming through
2. It's the closest thing to a SBR you can get in states that don't allow them such as WA
