I absolutely love my Henry. A true American Classic. The iron sights are not my cup of tea but throw a little 2-9x or similar optic up top and you have yourself a fantastic plinker. I love popping off a few rounds in rapid succession because it makes me feel like a cowboy. Lol. If you are looking for a plinker, I would highly recommend a Henry lever action in .17hmr. What a beautiful round. It is a necked down .22 long casing. Ballistically speaking, it blows away .22lr. 17 isn't too much more expensive than 22 and prices will continue to fall as the round gains in popularity. Then again, every self respecting gunnie needs a 22.


It is my carry gun, too. Nothing feels better in hand than a 75. Pick up a CZ and it feels like it was molded to your hands. Then pick up a Glock and it is like handling a brick; I like Glocks, too. I wanted to get the decocker version of the 75 B, aptly named 75BD, but I am recklessly impulsive so I bought the 75, 2 weeks later I got the P01. The only thing I don't like about the P01 is the tiny slide due to it having an integral rail. Great service pistol though, without a doubt.
