China and India, oddly enough who have almost 1/2 of the world's population don't give a damn about global warming. So we're only crippling our own economy and industry by adopting all of these idiotic standards.
One or two big volcano blasts can do as much damage as a year of human pollution. Or an asteroid or two.
The elephant in the room is that THERE ARE TOO MANY ****ING PEOPLE ON THIS PLANET AND THEY KEEP ****ING AND MAKING MORE ****ING PEOPLE. You will never get over the hurdle until the human population growth slows down.

Well, to hit a point about China and India: they don't really give a damn about global warming because they are behind industrialization compared to the US and its basically a by product of them catching to us economically and industrially...
Also the population stuff: we are declining in population growth rate.. albeit slowly.
As for GLOBAL WARMING DUE TO GREENHOUSE GASSES. Please read up
AR4 SYR Synthesis Report - 6.1 Observed changes in climate and their effects, and their causes
"As a result of anthropogenic emissions, atmospheric concentrations of N2O now far exceed pre-industrial values spanning many thousands of years, and those of CH4 and CO2 now far exceed the natural range over the last 650,000 years."
Theres no question that humans have contributed to a significant change in atmospheric conditions**, and that there is a warming trend. But of course nothing is concrete, theres just fairly strong evidence that humans are accelerating the warmth.
**Yes although we just started actively recording GHG in the past 50-80 years or whatever, we are able to read gas composition levels through deep ice.
Then theres the side of this could just be a spike in the Earth's long term climate and there will be a massive cooldown again?
