We should all be wary of an expanding welfare state and I am no fan of the green movement. In many places in Canada, more and more people are being forced into high density suburban neighbourhoods consisting of many duplex and row-house homes along with condo type buildings. A detached home is becoming less of the norm and the lots are getting smaller in many large metro's like Toronto. I'm talking 40ft by 80 ft for a 4 bedroom home in communities 50-60km from downtown Toronto.

It is also obscene how much money the government takes from you in Nova Scotia... but that's another topic altogether.
