I haven't seen that in this thread). But because you've never served, you don't understand how the military works. Not every one is a navy seal. There's people who don't know that the **** they're doing. There's people who are on their third DUI or legal incident that we STILL have trouble kicking out because of all the hoops and paperwork we have to jump through.
Also, and this is me being a realist, if everybody was armed, my least favorite thing about the military would be the ridiculous 3hr wait in the morning and evening everyday at the Armory.
