Mine usually only leaks under 2 conditions:
1) The truck sits for a long time (month or so) and allows the oil to get past the seal. Once it does, it continues to do so.
2) Anytime I do extreme or long trail offroading when the axle is constantly flexing and bumping over rocks.
It's mainly the driver side, but the passenger side has done it before. I'm gonna need the whole 9 yards like yours did. New everything! lol
