quick help please: rear diff plug/washer?

after changing the rear diff gear oil i was emptying the oil into a bucket and saw a washer. question, is there a washer on both the drain and fill plug? it was probably still stuck on there while draining and then fell off while i wasn't looking... when replacing the plugs i did notice there was a washer in the drain but none on the fill. thanks in advance.

i'm going to do the transfer case now...

EDIT: while draining the t-case, i noticed that both drain and fill were the same plug. is drain plug supposed to have the magnet like in the rear diff?
