You can flip the shove the other way around. Move the mounting hardware little towards the back. And let the shovel head take the contour of the roof rack. Thus looking better and if you go wheeling and hit trees, it will slide across rather then getting stuck on it. Just idea.



Also be careful about the shovel!!! I have one, and had it mounted like that. Used it few times. Thank god I had one. But anyways, once you use it. It will scratch the paint on the shovel head. And when it rains it will rust. Rains more the rust will drip on your rear window and paint and you will never be able to get that stain out. Just heads up. TRUST ME.
