I am the Service Manager for a Honda Dealership. I bought a 4Runner for one reason only. MACHO! The Pilot is a great vehicle ( that my wife would drive). I decided to get the 4Runner for the brute force, macho facade and the multitude of modifications that I can do ( because of this forum). I wanted the 4Runner so much that I have caught flack from my General Manager, but I know now that it was all worth it. I would do it all over again. Get a 4Runner for what it can do NOT judge it for what it can't do.
*I did buy the 4Runner from a Dealership that we own. GM not happy but the owner loves me.
