Anyway, you can't just compare amps to amps at different voltages. It's all about the Watts. If you want to fast charge devices just get a decent cigarette plug adapter. I'm a fan of Anker products. For an example, look at their 42W dual port charger. At max load that'll draw about 4A at 12V.

Not in the back, in the front cigaret plug. I just shared my experience because I found a couple of post that people are not happy with the cigaret plug (slow to charge phones). So this is a good cheap 15$ solution to charge your phone, mine in 28min from 19% to 100%.
