Ok Dont take this the wrong way because I do think its looks great.

I would like to do something similar to that to mine. I think a bar on the front looks good only when lifted of at least a leveling kit , otherwise it looks to bulky and makes the front end look lower to the ground. But maybe thats what you were trying to obtain , not sure.

Secondly If I do that I will paint color match it to the truck. My son will paint it for me and either clear the hell out of it of powder coat it . Either way if it starts to rust is an easy and inexpensive fix.

I think you made a good decision going with the black and it looks good with the skid plate.... nice job !!

Any plans on lights , lift , tires ?
