I'm a Floridian and often visit much colder areas with my 2 Doberman Pinschers. I use mushers wax on their paws for protection but that's it. I tried a couple of different jackets and sweatshirts but they last about 3 seconds before the competition for which one can tear the other ones off is over. They seem fine with the cold but they've never been in that kind of cold for more than a few hours at a time. I'd definitely recommend getting some mushers wax...it will help protect pads from the cold and will keep them better conditioned.
