Just a small bit of overspray, not gallons. I hear ya, but at 1,000 miles a week. The tailpipe is the culprit, my WD-40 is a many trillions times less. But someone mentioned mineral oil, that may be a better option, also cause of fumes also when spraying. Hearing problems with Fluid Film swelling bushings swayed me away from that. I'll avoid rust somehow.
