Gas engines from most or all manufacturers these days are getting pretty efficient and reliable. This wasn’t the case a decade or two ago, but today, they’ll all go 200k+ without much fuss.

Well, my 2008 Sienna with the reputable V6 (serviced regularly at Toyota) blew its connecting rod at 90k miles.
Needless to say, i am hesitant about anything going far without issues these days....
